My winter must-haves

1. Fuzzy socks.
They are the most comfortable socks to wear around the house instead of slippers.

2. Ecoya scented candles.
They make you feel calm and they make the room smell amazing.

3. The cotton on scarf blanket.
It's multi purposeful. You can use it as a scarf or a blanket. (not in store anymore)

4. Kathmandu jacket.
I use wear almost every time I leave the house because it is so warm.

5. Glassons fox beanie.
Warm and cute. ( now only $5!!!)

6. The Divergent series!!!
Winter is the best time to read books. I have only read Divergent and Insurgent, but so far so good. :)

New sunglasses!!!

I finally found some sunglasses! All of my sunglasses somehow disappeared, and I have been trying all winter to find some sunglasses before summer begins.

I always seem to have black sunglasses, so I haven't had similar sunglasses to these before.

They have a red and black smudgy pattern on the rims and black lenses, but what I love the most is the small amounts of gold coloured metal, on the sunglasses.

My friend Abby and I both bought some, must have sunglasses from Glassons.
Mine were $25 NZ, and Abby's were $20 NZ. I couldn't find them online, only in the Glassons store.

3 things I do when it's raining.

1. Watch movies
My sister and I decided to watch all the Harry Potter movies these holidays and rainy days were perfect times to watch them.

2. Bake or Cook something
Today I made chocolate fudge which kept me from being bored. Plus it was really delicious.

3. Do homework

Hokey Pokey

This method of making hockey pokey is absolutely delicious, and I have made it several times now. Be careful not to let the mixture burn.

5 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons golden syrup
1 teaspoon baking soda

1. Grease any container/tray with butter.

2.Put the golden syrup and sugar into a saucepan.

3.Then put the pan on the stove and let it simmer on a low heat while stirring constantly.

4.When you see that the sugar crystals have dissolved, turn the heat up.

5. When the mixture start to bubble, wait a few seconds and the take the saucepan off the stove.

6. Add the baking soda in and stir quickly until your sure that all if the backing soda is well mixed. (Mix fast because you down want the mixture to harden just yet).

7. Now using that greased container you buttered earlier use something, (I use a spatula) to smooth the  mixture put however you want.

Re-used my Dads old painting t-shirt

It's not summer here at the moment,  but for many people around
the world it is.  I know that sometimes you might  not
want to spend the money, on new summer clothes.
So here's a way to get a new top without spending any money at all, (and it
only takes two easy steps).

1. Find a big t-shirt that you don't have to buy. (I used my Dads old
painting t-shirt).
2. Trim  the bottom to the length you want the t-shirt to be.
Then your done!!!!!!

You could also use a long sleeve top and cut the sleeves shorter
as well as the bottom of the top.
